  Brake lights on but car locked?

  Hi all, my D5 has a reoccurring issue that LR and dealers can’t solve. The brake lights, high level and sides come on by themselves even when the car is locked and powered down. Not all the time can we weeks or even months between it happening. Standing there and they will intermittently go on and off rapidly when the D5 remains locked and hasn’t been started. I’ve changed the brake switch just in case that was the source of the problem but it’s still happening. Any ideas as to the reason or how this is possible

  Does anyone know what module controls the brake lights and where it is located.
