A quick scan through recent posts, and I find myself buying a new torch. How did that happen?

    Thanks, @Narpy.

    Only £20.78 today.

Just ran over my pressure bottle with the tractor and squished it...had to buy a new one. Handy for topping up gearbox/diff oil as well as essential for flushing out the DPF. Kinda gutted, I'd had the old one for years Neutral

Could be my persuasive nature but I suspect it’s the overwhelming desire to buy a torch that drives you, it’s a bloke thing, a man can never have too many torches. This rule also applies to other none torch related equipment, like fishing rods, screw drivers and power tools, and for our American readers, guns, bullets and bagels. Shocked

You’ll not regret it either, that bad boy almost recoils when you illuminate it’s light saber like beam and if you got the freebie mini light too, you’ll be thanking me once it resides in your centre cubby.😬

You’ll be able to light up half your county with it. You’ll be impressed especially once it’s gone dark.😉
Please give a report back once you’ve tested it and burnt your retinas out.😂

Torch kit arrived today. very impressed. Sturdy metal. Even in the home during the day you can see just how powerful it is. Has digital battery display.

Now fitted to the boot panel that covers the jack area ready for the next midnight emergency.

Came with a nice little square LED torch too ideal for the toolbox. Approx 50mm square.
All USB chargable and the torch acually acts as a powerbank in an emergency.

    Thumbs Up

No such thing as next day delivery out here in the north sea...even small parcels take a minimum of 4 days unless they start attaching them to trained Orcas and get them to swim up the beach down from the farm.

One of the minor logistics downsides to living somewhere where everyone else doesn't Rolling Eyes

Still no torch...It'll be here tomorrow according to the tracking. Amazon must have hired some dude with a waterproof rucksack to swim it over.
Let's hope he wasn't wearing a black wetsuit...the Orca's around here are quite partial to swimming things that look like seals Rolling Eyes

We've had a family group of Orca's hanging around the harbour this last week or so...unusually, a bit early in the year for them (they usually wait untill all the tourists have gone home) but there was another mass pilot whale beaching on the west side of the island a couple of weeks ago...23 of them on the beach just down from the farm...we had a mass beaching of pilot whales in roughly the same area last year too, 77 of them that time...it was the largest mass pilot whale stranding since the 1920's Sad

Harbour full of smiling seal assassins...

Mass pilot whale beaching last year...

All the rest of the stuff I ordered from Amazon appeared today...pressure bottle, hose clamp pliers...

I'm feeling left out, lots of cetaceans, dead or alive...but still torchless Big Cry
