Very interesting point indeed, Ajac... especially if you factor in flooding, fires, shed or garage roofs falling in during high winds or heavy snowfall etc.
A risk that's certainly more relevant to me than some random toerag nicking the Bling Barge anyway... Why didn't I think of that?

Of course they do, they're utter shysters only separated by a couple of generations from snake oil salesmen...They also probably don't cover you for damage to your car caused by acts of god or acts of terrorism... It'll be in the small print somewhere I bet. So you'd better hope that some dodgy chap dressed up as a priest doesn't put some 9mm holes your car with an Uzi

I've still got my door rubbing strip things to fit...and the bonnet vinyl. Waiting for a nice day so I can do all that outside instead of stuck in the workshop

If you do Temu, these are also great value at under £6 and they fit the D5 bars.
Other companies charge a fortune for these but at that price, you cannot go wrong.
Not used mine in anger on the D5 yet but on the D4 they were brilliant.

Anybody any thoughts on this? A step too far or somewhat cool? Chavtastic or fantastic?
You only need to apply power + ground, the switching is done via a small remote unit.
I think they look quite good but the £500 asking price kills it stone dead for me. To be honest, if they were half that price, I’d still be reluctant. It would be a purely aesthetic thing as I have no use for the extra lighting but do kinda like the look.

Check out what’s available on eBay. There’s a whole host of colours and the paint seems specifically made for brake calipers
A number of people have suggested that I paint mine black so that’s the colour I’ll be going for but it’s personal choice.
