Got the car Thursday, fitted the steps Friday. The only thing i can't get to work, is the remote for the rear screens. I think it may need re-pairing to the system. otherwise everything seems good.

Awesome. Does your other half like the D5? I know mine does...since she mentions it often enough
Remember to take some pics of the new sidesteps...did you go for the BritPart ones, the Predator ones or the OEM?
Remember...if we don't see pics...it didn't happen

Will take some pictures tomorrow, i went for the predator steps in the end through E-bay. They were £179, but when they arrived the top of the passenger one had a clip broken. I did contact them. They gave me the option to have them exchanged or if i could repair them, a partial refund. As i needed to fit them so my wife could get in, i opted for the partial refund. Quite an easy repair really, but they gave me £30 back. It was all handled really quickly.
My Wife isn't really a car person, she still struggles to get in to be honest. But she doesn't have to bend as much as the Arkana i traded for the the disco.

Also fitted the Predator steps. Seemed really easy to do- managed it without removing the trims too... little fiddly.
Notice the Britpart ones have cast brackets though, where as the predator ones are pressed steel

You were lucky.
I wonder if your car had steps fitted previously. I couldn't get access to most of the bolts when fitting mine. I had to remove all the trims to gain access, and cut the underbody trims. Not bad steps now they are on though.

No. Definitely hadn't had steps previously- just a bit of patience and an impact driver to reach the bolts
