Result on the steering box, it would have needed replacing at some point due to the apparent length of time that boot has been split...water will have got in there so it would either need stripping down and repairing or total replacement...which is a ton easier (and cheaper labour wise) than stripping one down into bits to grease the rack and stick a new boot on.
Didn't know the washer bottle was split...so it's good that they'll replace that under warranty.
As for the stop/start...before the reason for the DTC is sorted, it'll probably keep recurring if you just clear the fault anyway. It could be something simple...like a corroded wire on the starter motor or something similar...or previous owner with a G4 IID tool might have just disabled it in the CCF instead of setting the button memory option up like I did. Hard to tell unless you can view the CCF's...
Land Rover don't exactly promote messing around with CCF's...since there's a ton of optional extras in there you can turn on or off that they would charge you a ton of money for
As for the FBH...you've restored power to it through all your hard work so technically, it should be working...although you might need to clear any remaining FBH related DTC's with an IID tool before it'll fire up. Besides that, you just need an Eberspächer remote fob that works with it...that fob you have is for a Webasto T91R, which I can't honestly see working with our brand of FBH.
Unless we ever get a really deep freeze winter, which is strangely unusual up here due to being surrounded by sea, I'll probably never use the FBH...I'll just use the remote climate start from the app. If I ever do need the FBH, I can fire it up from the Remote app after the recent update anyway.
