Windscreen Replacement and Lane Keep Assist

OK, so recently suffered leaking windscreen scenario mentioned in other post on MY2021 Disco 5. No longer in warranty, so organised replacement screen to be fitted. Fitting company said Adas cameras may need recalibration after fitting and sure enough got Lane Keep Assist, and Emergency Brake not working errors on dash after fitting. Took it into local KwikFit to do the recalibration and they could not do it saying the cameras were faulty.

Have been back to company that fitted windscreen and they say they are not responsible. However camera clearly stopped working as a result of the new screen or fitting of.

    Any advice?

Do you KNOW the camera is ACTUALLY faulty? Did someone put a diagnostic on it?

Have they fitted the right type of windscreen? I read somewhere that some glass doesn’t work with ADAS.

Just thoughts off the top of my head.

I got moisture in mine when they refitted windscreen….heated up the bl**dy thing with the wife’s hairdryer to drive out moisture … till the error messages stopped and it worked.

Could the camera of been hanging on the wires ?
    Just thought and broken wires

Land Rover fault code C1001 typically indicates an issue with the forward sensing camera (FSC) or a related camera system, often due to a connection problem, a faulty camera, or a calibration issue. Common causes include corrosion on connectors, damaged wiring, or problems with the head unit or other modules in the MOST bus network.
    Common causes and solutions
    Poor or corroded connection:
Cause: Corrosion, loose pins, or damage to the camera's connector or the wiring to the head unit can disrupt the signal.
Solution: Inspect and clean the connectors. A technician may need to repair or replace the wiring if it's damaged.
    Wiring issues:
Cause: A break or fault in the video signal cable between the camera and the display unit can cause a "no signal" error.
Solution: Use a multimeter to test for continuity in the wiring. Check for power and ground connections at the camera connector.
    Calibration problems:
Cause: If the windshield was replaced, or after certain suspension or wheel alignment adjustments, the camera may need recalibration.
Solution: A professional recalibration of the forward sensing camera is required.

No one near to help with a gap tool ?

Did not watch when windscreen fitted so do not know whether cameras were hanging off. Fitter said at time they do not touch the camera, housing, just fit the new screen over the top.

Am having professional diagnostics run on Thu morning, so will see what this, turns up.
