Duff battery?
Hi All,
Past two days the volume on radio, cd, phone link etc, are all off.
The volume indicator is stuck on 12 and is in red.
Past two days I've had a beep and low battery warning on the console.
The battery is low at 12.2v.
I've charged the battery on two days now.
Any thoughts/checks I should do, on whether it's a battery problem, charging problem, battery drain, software issues?

Faulty batteries tend to show a whole range of faults and issues not just confined to audio equipment.
How often does the low battery bong appear? Can be quite sensitive to drops in voltage. Does the car get used much? Does your charger have a recon function?

The low battery bong happened two mornings in a row.
The charger has an automatic recon setup.
I'm gonna leave it on charge overnight.
A few months ago the volume disappeared, I charged the battery and it came back, could have been coincidence I guess.

The car is used daily, usually 30 to 40 miles per day.
Certainly enough usage for the dpf regen system.

I put the battery on charge for 8 hours, rested it an hour, still no sound.
Disconnected the battery for 1 hour.
Reconnected it and the sound returns??
Weird, but unless I've dreamt the past 72 hours, it happened!?
I'll run it for a few days and see what happens.
I'm guessing the battery is maybe reaching the end of its life.
It's the original battery from 2018, done 62,000 miles
