    2019 Discovery TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

    Disco with mileage to the moon!!

    Hi all
    New to this forum but ember to the sister forum FFRR for many years.
    New to me is a late 2019commercial sdv6 with 174k miles.
    Full main dealer history and currently no faults. Fingers crossed!!
    Question for the group is recondition or replace with a similar engine with a 50-70k miles perhaps.
    If so thoughts recommendations for places to source / use to undertake the work etc. located in the uk east Anglia area but willingly travel further afield?

    My only comment…. Why replace engine if it is running fine (you don’t say if there are any problems)

    How has the current engine been serviced?

    Has anything major been replaced on it?
    Currently a D4 owner looking for a D5.

    No problems at the moment

    Full main dealer service history belts etc. no major assembly changes at all reported.

    Talk to Jon at Drivecare limited in Ely, he has done many D4's and D5's including mine and could tailor a build to your needs, my advice would be do it once and do it right so replace all the parts, Turbos etc, that's what i did with both my D4 and my D5 commercial and I have no regrets at all.
