    Turbo actuator

Hi everyone, I recently bought a 2020 disco 5 with the 3.0 sdv6 engine. I have been finding it very sluggish up to 2000 rpm, and then above 2000 it seems to have all the power. I have been doing some digging to find the cause as I get an intermittent p0046 code turbo a performance/range.

What I think it is is the turbo vane actuator on the left hand turbo, the one with the electric actuator, I have managed to get eyes on it when the ignition is pressed and it appears to try to move a bit and then returns back down, it almost looks like the worm gear in the actuator may have missing teeth or something causing it to skip back down.

I don't think it's stuck vanes as I did manage to help it up one time and it got more range of movement, but it didn't look smooth and then after a short while was back to limited movement.

Anyone have anything similar? How hard is it to take the turbo off or just get enough access to get the actuator off?
