Disco 5 Brake Change
In the 16 years of owning my Disco 3, I changed the brakes on that multiple times. However I'm now coming up to the first time needing to change my brakes on my disco 5. Car was purchased brand new in 2022 and done 55k miles. Its a D300.
Question is, is the process of changing discs and pads the same as on the disco 3? Any advise anyone would give to something being different?
Bodsy's Brake Bible was awesome on the disco 3. Would the torque settings for the bolts remain the same from that for the disco 5?
Just to add, the car has been faultless in the 2.5 years of ownership. Bar the 21k regular servicing, this is the first bit of maintenance needed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have a look here:

It's my collection of downloads from TOPIX, including the brake pad/disk/caliper change procedures.
There are multiple options of brake sizes for the D5 each with different calipers and procedures. Check which you have.

Thanks for the share.
Looking to change all the discs and pads on my MY20 before I hand it over to my wife. Interesting regards assembly mode. It suggests you should do this to avoid a fault, but in the later notes it also suggests if you have not that the resulting error is easily overcome. I believe my Ottofix will let me activate this mode, but it's interesting to know as MY26 models with 'secure diagnostics' will be more challenging. Good to see that simple maintenance may still be possible without LR approved diagnostics.
