D250 Timing belts question?
Hi guys,
We are picking up a 2022 R-Dynamic D250 MHEV (60k miles) on Friday (main dealer) and when questioned, the sales guys told us that there were no timing belts that needed to be replaced!
Google suggests that this isn’t the case, but I wanted to know what the official schedule is for the belt changes.
Is it part of the official service schedule?
What’s the cost of the belt change, as I can factor this into the deal.

I believe I am right in saying the D250 (igneums) don’t have timing belts but a timing chain like petrol models.
My petrol Si6 recommends inspection after 10years …..but precautionary ‘listening’ for chain rattle (when cold) is advised throughout this timescale.

Thank you!
Quick update and I have spoken to the dealer this morning. You are correct that it has a timing chain but it also has an Ancillary belt, which had been changed as part of the 60k service they have just completed.
Thank you!
