    Front screen sun shade

    Looking for a sun shade for the front winderscreens. Anybody able to share their finds? Prefer one that fold up and doesn't need the suction cups to keep it in place. I bought one from Ali, s but the size was OK but very thin and limp. Thumbs Up

    Is it only me that uses these sun shades anymore Sad iam a bit old school but just struggling to get one that fits and folds up

    Front Sun Shade

    I got mine from Land Rover VPLRS0366 this is the part number I used , hope this helps.. Thumbs Up

    Genuine LR fitted to my D5 windshield, now 10 years old, and a bit ragged, but still blocks out the sun and heat.

    2022 Discovery SDV6 HSE Lux Santorini Black

    Genuinely, how useful/effective are they? I would not have even considered the need for one, but do they really help?

    Got our first dog recently, and he'll pant immediately he steps into the car if it's warm, and i those 1-2 mins whilst we wait for the air-con to really kick-in....

    I would say that it does help keep the car a little bit cooler but I use it to keep the dashboard from getting red hot in direct sunlight. Also I a disclock on my steering wheel and this can get too hot to touch in direct sunlight.

    One thing I love about Orkney, while the rest of the UK is baking in 30+°c...we're a pleasant 15°c and quite breezy with a southerly wind. Wink

    It was so pleasant down the beach today, I almost undid the top toggle on my duffle coat... Laughing
