    How to remove spoiler?

I’m trying to fit the Land Rover Dashcam but can’t get the rear spoiler off.
The manual shows 3 nuts to remove and 4 screws.
At this point I was expecting it to partially lift off. Only held by wiring and washer tube.
However it won’t lift up. Any ideas?

Isn’t the spoiler held on with extremely adhesive double sided tape?

All I could suggest is heat the contact areas up with a hairdryer and then used dental floss to “saw” between the tape and the car whilst someone helps hold it.

Tesco had the answer just go to their car wash.It ripped off mine exposing 7 bolts and throwing spoiler onto the ground.
£4K plus VAT still fighting the claim from February .

Massive cost was due to the whole tailgate had to be replaced as part of the fitting was distorted making it Impossible to fit new spoiler .
Huge pressure caused when washer sensor failed and just lifted up instead of backing off.
    Tesco say wear and tear!
First time ever used car wash.

There are 7 bolts holding the spoiler onto the tailgate.
I don’t think it’s an easy DIY job to remove them.
    Good luck

Rear Spoiler Ripped Off By Car Wash

I recently used an auto car wash at a Shell garage in Portishead and on the 2nd run it ripped the rear spoiler off the car. All 5 mounting points failed so the spoiler ended up on the floor. I've put a claim in for reimbursement but the garage is refusing to accept liability due to the disclaimer notice at the entry to the wash (see attached photo) stating that it is used solely at the car owners risk. This is like saying that if you buy a gun and you fire it with stock ammunition and it blows your face off because the breach explodes then it's you problem - it's a joke as all services available to the public must have a duty of care to keep people safe and to whoever is using the equipment and that it ensures it is safe to use. My argument that if the wash is capable of ripping the spoiler off my car then it would be capable of killing someone if they got in the way, therefore, any such equipment would have to have auto-safety devices to prevent such an event - clearly not the case.

Having explained that an auto car wash should not damage a car that is stock and as built by the manufacturer (that it complies with all legal construction and use regulations) then the disclaimer statement doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

Has anyone else had a similar experience and received reimbursement / restitution?
