This has become the latest tactic. Bought it online, it's tailormade to the D5, fits like a glove, and just about covers all areas the crow has been attacking.
Looks good hope it works. One word of caution…
I found that the cover I used (maybe yours is better) was prone to minute movement especially in strong winds. Although body work was fine, I did notice slight rub marks in some parts of the piano black plastic trim where the material and straps on tight edges moved in the wind or even during repetitive fitting/removing. Just saying.
