discovery 5 tailgate problem
hi all, any help greatly appreciated.
having issues with tailgate, previously workig fine, then intermittant opening from remote, then also from the button on the tailgate, now it almost never opens, sometimes it does, somethimes the latch releases and the tailgate stays down, somethimes goes party way up, then stops, then continiues if press button again, sometimes closes instead of continuing to open. usually it closes as it should.
i have been told its the push rod thats the problem, i have watched it when pressing buttons, and it moves as it should, possibly not enough, i dont know, but dont want to buy another one to find out i have the same issue regardless. advice very gratefully received

Perhaps it needs a reset
