After a very pleasant 9 hour drive covering 470 miles, we're now as far north in Scotland as we can get without crossing the sea.
The car is parked up for the night overlooking the harbour and Dounrey Power station across the bay. It never missed a beat on the journey up and would have easily done it on a single tank of diesel (although we topped up in Inverness on the way through).
After a hopefully very lazy week exploring, paddleboarding, swimming with the dog and taking photos, we'll let it pamper us for another 9 hours heading back south.
