    Funny noises from under the bonnet

    Anyone else getting. High pitched whine and a strained kind of pumping sound coming from the engine bay when the motor is hot? It's definitely trying to pump something from the vicinity of the radiator. Is it normal? It stops abruptly.

    Not had that
    Namib Orange 1st Edition with black roof and wheels.
    Privacy, tow bar, drive pack, surround camera, heated front & rear seats, auto dim door mirrors, side steps, remote Pro, RSE, arm rest fridge dash cam front and rear.

    I think it could be something to do with the AdBlue system. My 16MY D4 used to make all sorts of noises after switching off. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

    I occasionally have a sound like that with my D4 after a run. Like the fan on a previous D3. Goes off as though switched off after a few minutes.

    Exactly. Must be the Adblue system then. Sounds a bit industrial!

    I also noticed that tonight. Sounds like a compressor is powering down. A whining sound Crying or Very sad

    Nothing to worry about when the vehicle is shut down car is just preparing itself for shutdown/sleep mode.
