    Opted out

    Evening All

I think the car looks stunning but when i priced it up to the spec i wanted it came out far to high for what i was getting. So i decided to go for a FFRR Very Happy
The difference in cost was not that great and i do like a FF.

I have bought a new Range rover autobiography. Carpathian grey.

I will be popping back to see what you have all bought.

    Good luck with your orders

The Discovery makes sense until you spec it up, then you're in FFRR territory, so unless you need the space they why wouldn't you take the FFRR.

Did you go for the V6 or V8 diesel or lose your mind and take the 5.0 Laughing

I am with you if you got it up to £80k, I think my spec at £65k is as far as I would go with a Discovery.

It's the word "more' in your reply that's got me worried. Have you been reading my mail? Laughing

i am an OAP as well, cars are my only weakness, at least of the ones that I can admit to on a public forum.

I was very lucky with mine. TBH
I rang my dealer that I've been buying cars from many years and mentioned that my spec on the Disco was at 80k and was thinking of a Range Rover again, he offered to have a look about for me.
Within an hour he was back and there was a cancelled order sat in solihull.
The right spec, colour and engine.
    4.4 SDV8 Very Happy
I had a good deal so couldn't let it go.

I would post a pic but can't workout how bl Censored dy do it.

    Enjoy it Thumbs Up

I haven't fathomed out how to use this forum either. Not as user friendly on iPad as the other sites.

There are few functions on this website that don't work. I'm guessing that's because there aren't enough users to justify setting them up. Once the orders start to roll out of the factory I'm sure that Martin will give a little more of his expertise. Very Happy

    Very nice Thumbs Up

The FFRR is my ultimate motor, its got me thinking, do I take brand new Disco or 2 year old FFRR for similar money?

Nice choice, I always wanted a FFRR (still do really) I had a FFRR on order but bottled it and went for another D4 due to concerns around load space. The D5 i spec'd to match what i have now with a few bells on comes out at £86k the FFRR I had ordered was £92k which does make you think.
