    Rattling Belts

Does anyone have a problem with rattling belts in the second row? It's the two lateral belts hitting the plastic cover while driving.

Is that what it is? I was removing the rear parcel cover and the little flap inside the boot thinking that was the cause...

    Thank you Max!

It's a shame for a car like the all new Discovery to have rattling belts, don't you think?
Come on, LR can't seriously expect us to keep them clipped in all the time, can they?

I guess (and hope) there will be a dealer's fix for that. Did anyone complain about this at his dealer's yet? Would be interesting to see what they say.

    Rattling belts

This is what I've done as the belts were driving me crazy with the rattle. Also put a cloth in the T bar where separate bag is for the wheel brace and T bar for the spare wheel.
Rubbish design as there's enough room in there for a bottle jack as per disco 2 had.[img]

motorsilver: these are the 3rd row belts, did they rattle also? I noticed 2nd row belt rattling only...

Motosilver - do those clips hold your belts? I've modified mine as the belts kept slipping out

Mine certainly fall out. As I said in another thread the clips would be a lot better if they had the opening at the back rather than at the front (i.e. turn them round 180 degrees.)

    How did you modify yours?

I took the clips out, and tied a really fine bit of thread around where the seatbelt feeds through clipped it all back in, sat the belt in the clip then hooked the thread loop over the end of the clip to pull it down/catch the belt - can't notice it but has been faultless since

I have raised this with me dealer on Friday he is sending pictures to LR, perhaps the rest of you could raise it with your dealers and they can all do the same, LR may then re-design the poor design.
I will also write to LR with a picture if I can find an address to send it to, anyone got an address?
