    What car

Magazine put the Disco 5 as number two behind the Audi, despite it didnt comecwith air suspension.
It's only a magazine article but does get into interior detail saying the Audi felt better quality, whatever that is.
Joe public reads this stuff to either bass a decision on or justify what they have just spent lots of money on with little chance of going back.
Strange for me to buy a mag but in lead up to decision mode.
    I'm collating data.

Maybe a question that can be asked here - do the posts from the Disco 3 site get moved across to on here ?

    Lsat 3

    Reviews say much the same.
    Reference to the Disco 3/4
    Then the obvious looks,
    Some mention of capability

Aimed at buyers who maybe haven't indulged before so
Infotainment & apps are deemed important.

It seems the issues being experienced by some owners on here have seen other users using media means to get resolutions on issues, it may come to that.
When some issues escape & become public domain J /LR sadly have a massive problem on thier hands. Adverse publicity.

The most recent Autocar has d5 3.0d HSE against a selection of others. It wasn't first but there is an amazing series of photos of it completely airborne - I would love to know what damage Autocar did to it as I'm sure it was never designed to get as much air as the photo seems to show.......... They put it up against a Dacia Duster, Toyota Land Cruiser, Jeep Wrangler 3.6V6 Pentastar, Isuzu D-max Pickup and a Mercedes G-wagon 350D. This was a purely offroad test in a disused quarry - the Jeep got top slot, then Isuzu, G-wagenand Disco 5 was 4th followed by the Land Cruiser. Biggest surprise was just how capable the Dacia Duster is, it went almost everywhere the others went........... except up a very steep hill.

Are you saying we D5 owners should not post independent reviews?

No please don't stop or even deviate - what's been written here is gold dust.
    Candid data.
    Real user feedback.
Exemplary in the sense informing & warning all prospective buyers like me.

I'm amazed in what ive read in so little time.on here.

It's not only about the Disco 5 but about the J/LR company & its direction too.

    My thanks to those posting
