I've got an HSE which arrived without any mats at all. I bought the rubber ones which won't help but I believe these are the premium mats. The give-away is the silver LR logo.
Well I guess the mats I have are supposed to be Premium then, but they are nothing like the ones in the photo.
Those are like the ones that |I had in my previous Sports.
I have just got back from the Dealer and they had a HSE Lux in the showroom which had the same mats as my car. The Lux is supposed to have Premium as standard.
So it looks like the they have changed the mats to a cheaper style!

I bought those ones. The are actually quite thick and shagpilish. Rubber mats thrown in by the stealer. HSE comes with no mats as standard.
Just wondering if anybody has got to the bottom of this, and what are "Premium" carpet mats?
I got a set of what I'm being told are "Premium" mats with my HSE Luxury (as described on the build sheet, not my words), they can only be described as naff (thin shallow twill with poor quality edging and no rubber backing) and certainly not what you would expect from a top of the range model or premium manufacturer.
I've checked with my dealer and he tells me that what has been provided are what I should expect with the HSE Luxury model, he has confirmed this with LR.
If the dealer is correct and these naff attempts at premium mats are what i should expect then they have a bleedin check selling "Luxury" carpet mat sets onto buyers that have already purchased "Luxury" specification vehicles
I'm afraid Jim that I'm being fobbed off with "what you have are premium mats, you can order Luxury mats as accessories"
So there you go, buy a £70k Luxury model, then pay extra for a luxury mat set!
If what I have are Premium quality goods then god help those that have been supplied with Standard mats. My neighbours Kia Sorento has been supplied with better quality carpet mats than my LR Premium mats, mind you it also has heated and cooled seats, radar cruise control, etc etc and all at half the price of what I've paid.
Anyway given what the dealer has told me I've taken this up with LR Customer Services Centre to see what they say.
