    Off to France-Spare bulbs?

    We are off to France next week. Motorists are required by law to carry spare bulbs amongst other things. Is this waived for our vehicles or do we have to carry LED modules?

    I have ignored that part of the requirements for a few years.

    Just make sure you have your jackets, triangle, etc.

    If a light failed I would just go to a LR dealer as I probably would not know how to change it anyway, but then I do not do much driving in France at night.

    I've driven in France a lot & I carry a triangle and hi-viz but no bulbs. Been stopped a couple of times by the cops and I've never been asked to produce any of the required kit.
