I think the 240 diesel in the DS would be a welcome addition or the 250 petrol from the F-pace or just go the whole hog and stick the V6 diesel/petrol in it, that would tempt me into a DS again.
Don't get me wrong I like my D5 and have no regrets in purchasing it but there is a few things that bug me on it.
🔵 The sun catches the silver trim around the gear selector
🔵 less steering lock than the D4
🔵 rattling rear seat belts
Minor things really, the seat belts can be fixed with fiddling around.
Steering lock - Let's get some perspective (I know you said less than D4) - steering lock on Defender and D2 is bad. D5 not fantastic but not a black cab by comparison. What size wheels? I'd say that it is equivalent to a RRS or RR.
Rear seat belts - not noticed that, row 2 or 3? Do they rattle when clipped in (without an occupant)?

Must admit that I'm still adjusting in terms of scale from Disco Sport so everything is bigger / more of a challenge so lots of things for me to learn to live with!
I've been using an Evoque this weekend and it feels tiny (handles well) but not impressed with the ride below 35 MPH as it's jiggly so have obviously become very used to air suspension in pretty short order
