I was of the same opinion, it could be for the 2018 model or possibly later.
It was the same issue with the Discovery Sport, I believe the early cars with the "old" engine did not suddenly devalue overnight, so I am happy to be in the car now rather than wait and wait...

True, And there is that niggling doubt at the back of my mind about anything new coming off the production line with JLR teething problems. At least we know the TD6 engine is tried and tested with millions of miles behind it.
Think I'm gradually talking myself into accepting a TD6 if that's what comes through for October delivery.
