Don't put a phone here....
It's an obvious place to put a phone for those in the 3rd row. But as my daughter found out, the cup holder is shallow so easily falls out. And then there's a gap it will fall down (see pic). As it's carpet under there, it will slide deep under the seats. That gap is wide enough for a phone / change etc. But too narrow to get your hand down there.
Unlike the D3 folding seats, you don't get access to underneath. So spent 2 hours rescuing it yesterday.
That involved dangling my securely attached phone with the video on to see if we could see where it was. Luckily it was in a yellow case so could work out where it was. But no obvious way of removing the panel under the seats. Was lucky that managed to get it out without a trip to the dealers... -
