So after a few years since we sold our D4 we are coming back to the fold with a D5 order. We have gone for:
HSE Lux in Montalcino Red
Complete Dynamic Design pack with 21" alloys
Ebony/Nimbus dynamic interior
Drive Pro pack with adaptive cruise
Tech plus pack with head up display
Full length black roof rails
Front seat fridge
Activity key
360 parking aid
I haven't seen many of the Montalcino Red with the dynamic packs, or with the lighter interior (I really don't like dark interiors). Are there any pictures on the site of this colour combo?
I am told delivery end Sep/early Oct, depending on the dealer's allocation, and can't wait to get it.
Hi I posted some picture in "The wait is over" thread just below this tread. It's the same colour but no added packs. Interior is acorn. Really pleased with it.
I have the front "fridge" as well, and actually its a cool box not a fridge -so has very limited performance even in the UK where its not normally very warm.
Its based upon thermoelectric technology, means it is not designed to cool things down, just keep them cool for a little longer.
Its also quite noisy - which is the way with all thermoelectric coolers
In my experience the Landrover integrated arm rest coolbox is no better than the very cheap coolboxes from Halfords for £20, which is no surprise as they use the same inefficient technology which cannot be up-scaled to provide a good cooling experience.
I just ordered a Domentic ACX 35 (for the boot) which uses Absorption technology to cool, this technology is very efficient, works as a true fridge and is silent
