I know, almost every option was ticked. My first Discovery will be well equipped for great comfort and great fun.
I had a heated windscreen on the LR3, it was amazing. so at 5 pm when its time to go home whilst your colleagues are scrapping and removing the half inch of ice the freezing rain dropped while you were in the office, you can just sit and wait a few minutes and phuttttt brush it off like it was powder snow.

Well, i figure i will be taking snow and ice off the rest while the windscreen and rear window defrost on their own.
Will be interesting to find a good way to get ALL the snow off the roof. I'm 6'-1" but it still takes a good reach to get snow off. Better start searching for a good long snow removal broom soon. hahahahaha

It's onboard the Themis. Left Southampton on 20 August and should land in Halifax Canada on 28 August.
Then it will be a waiting game to get on a train and onto the dealer. PDI etc
Sales director says delivery will be at the end of September but i find it a bit long for it to take nearly a month from Halifax to the north of Montreal.
It landed in Halifax on the 25th instead of the 28th. Nice !
It was discharged from the port on the 28th but cannot track it beyond this point.
Sales director just called to say they've been invoiced by Land Rover Canada so it should be on a train in the coming days.
Labour Day weekend means it probably won't be moving until Tuesday, but it's leaning towards a mid September delivery. Two weeks early, so i'm all good with that !

Sounds like good news to me and it means another one on the roads in QC I saw 2 last weekend on the 40, my first. Although one did have Ontario plates .

I haven't seen one on the road, yet.
Only the one i tried a few months ago. But i was driving it so didn't see it on the road hahahahaha
Will need to find safe places to go offroad. And by safe i mean somewhere that won't scratch it to hell and has some nice inclines and/or muddy trails.
Have you been to the Land Rover Experience in Montebello yet ?
I believe we get a free 3 hour Experience from Land Rover Canada.

The Experience invite has not arrived yet and to be honest I have not had the time to take advantage of it yet . There has been a comment elsewhere on the forum that the invites are slow in arriving and aa call to the experience centre is the way to go

Delivery is set for this Monday at 11am.
Followed by a 1 hour "course" about the vehicle.
That should be interesting, seeing as i am good at asking questions they never seem to know the answers to. Hahahahaha
