    Exterior A-Post

Checked topix today and it appears I have an outstanding campaign

    N042 - Exterior A-post trim adrift

    Can't say I've noticed anything.

Mine seem loose to the touch - flimsy if I'm honest!
    How can I check Topix?

mine came lose at motorway speed and caused a massive amount of noise as it vibrated against the A pillar trim. Stuffed it back in with a credit card but would come out when wipers were on as that disrupted the airflow around the windscreen /. A pillar.

Sorted by dealer along with new black gloss trim on the A pillar as this had been damaged by the trim.

I'll have a play around tomorrow.

One thing I have noticed is on the drivers side the small black plastic trim between the passenger door and 3rd row window seems to be coming loose.

    Thumbs Up

I'll add that to the dealers to do list.

Register using the link further up then you have the option to buy a subscription, usually when you click on a bulletin it gives you the option.

    Hi,

It's not the trim, it's the rubber seal between the A-post trim and the screen.

It breaks loose from the trim and flaps across the screen, very distracting and makes a horrible noise.

Just had our off-side done under warranty but had to wait for a "modified part".

Just checking if it has to go back to have the other one done under N042.

    Ahh ok

Nothing seems loose, no rubber flapping around but I will have another look now I know what it is. No harm I suppose in getting the dealer to look at it while it's in getting the little bit of trim stuck back on.

Anyone got any pictures or the topix note they can share? Mine feels 'loose'(ish) to touch if I push the top?

That is the issue, I had mine fixed a couple of weeks after delivery and obviously it turned out to be a common fault.

Once fixed it is rock solid.
