    2017 Discovery Td6 HSE Indus Silver

    My Indus Silver HSE

    so just catching up on return from my road trip from Montreal to Newfoundland, Great trip, would have been better in the Discovery but its all good now Cool .

    Just a quick shot of some of the wildlife accumulated along the Trans Canada Highway from Quebec to New Brunswick about 870 km. My vehicle is registered in Quebec so it is not required to have a number plate on the front just in case anyone thought it had dropped off! Fuel consumption was 7.4l/100km, which is about 34mpg (i think).




    And absolutely nothing to do with Land Rover but cannot resist posting this

    I know it's kids stuff but I couldn't work out where the headlight washer jets were! Love the clatter too, who says you can't tell it's a desiel

    I reckon that is a 4 cylinder 2.0 lire engine, the 6 cylinder does not clatter like that!

    Could you post a pic of the car from the rear? I am still considering a D5 with Indus Silver as the colour. I am wondering if the tray below the rear bumper looks less conspicuous on a silver car than it appears on other colours where in my opinion it seems to further exaggerate the rear. Thanks.

    I am still not convinced by the number plate frame, but there are a lot of options out there so I may try a few out.

    IMHO it would look better without a frame. It looks a bit fussy with one. At least it is not yellow like ours.

    thanks worth a try, I may have a fiddle at the weekend

    It is common practice here to have anything you want on the front, you see a lot of German plates on VWs for example; I always wanted to do this Very Happy
