    What it looks like on mine



    Jim,

    Here is the only photo of mine I have at the moment.

    When you go into the Fancy Plates website, select UK show plates and on the rear size pull down select 'custom'. All the font stays the same for legalization and it is only the length of the plate you would be reducing.

    I think it'd look even better with some more yellow from the sides trimmed back.

    we get one size of number (license) plate in Quebec so not many options other that the frame the plate sits in, No front plate to worry about though

    Narrow plate 430x150mm

    This is what a slightly narrowed plate looks like at the rear with dimensions 430x150mm.

    An improvement I'd say....?

    So I finally ditched the dealers plate mount and put in plain Weathertech item, Look much cleaner IMO

    DVLA states that the figures must be 79mm tall and the margin above, below and at each end should be 11mm therefor you could fit a plate 101mm tall by relevant overall width, That could then be fitted somewhere near central on the tailgate recess.

    Taunton Land Rover. They are part of Helston Garages Group, so Matford in Exeter might do them as well. But Taunton did mine for £25 + VAT.
