I did ask for a reason, on Monday I had the NO25 outstanding campaign done at dealers &'since then have had service warnings on phone and car. Due back at dealers next Wednesday for investigation & was wondering if this was the fix.
It would be better to not use Topix as a way of trying to identify possible faults......
This is simply a technical bulletin that sets out how to deal with this issue, should it arise. In this case, it is simply a software flash.
I understand the train of thought behind this . But need to ask.
if all the builds follow the same process and quality checks etc, and in fact the whole supply chain does that even before components are delivered to JLR, so basically each vehicle is a clone of the next how can one car have issues and yet others do not; is this a cause from assembly poorly done or what defines one car over the next??
. it must fall on JLR ownership as they publish these fixes and garages perform them free of charge to customers and yet car s are still being sold and some fall in to the free fix and others never experience it; what really is happening has a RCA been done across the sold cars to identify and solutions in process put in place.
why are these not picked up during the extensive testing each manufacturer perform before release or is this result of last minute change in production or supplier (thus not fully tested)??
