    Solihull factory tour.

    Has anyone untaken the factory tour at Solihull?
    If so was it any good, and would you recommend it based on your experience?

    Also thinking of doing the Cadburys tour to keep the kids happy the following day.

    Any good hotels recommended near Solihull or Bournville?

    Yes, would definitely recommend it - we did it last Oct half term as a family of 5, even the kids found it interesting (ages 10-15), although 2 of them are petrol heads. My wife also found it interesting and wanted to do the Halewood one as she has an evoque, although we haven't done that one yet. Left amazed at how they build the cars and fives you a better understanding of the technical challenges they have on such a small, limited site de to s major airport. Didn't stay locally, so can't really recommend anything, however, all the Brum airport hotels are on the doorstep so there is plenty of choice at reasonable rates. Enjoy, I'd do it again!

    As a FYi if you get a chance to do the Mercedes Museum or the VW one in the homelands do it well worth it
