Rolling back on hill?
Hi Everyone,
I own a 17' Discovery HSE which we used to go to Goodwood's Revival weekend as a chauffeur car. Once pulled up to a roundabout on a hill, I let off the brake where I normally would in the Disco 4 and expected it to hold like I thought all automatics do. However the car started to roll back.. I applied the brakes and then let off again to see if it was a fluke but nope, it did it again.
I was just wondering if this is normal behaviour or if anyone else has experienced this yet? If not what would you suggest doing about it?
Regards,
Alex

Mine rolls back on a hill too. Just apply electronic handbrake if you plan to be there for any time. 😀

That's a pity. The hill start control was an excellent feature of the D4.
