Thanks J77
Yes, we are all in the same boat am afraid. No test drive and deposit was paid in March last year. It's a stab in the dark but having been fortunate enough too have owned and driven all 4 previous models (in the family) am sure Land Rover have pulled out all the stops as this being a brand new model not to mention the price hike. With competition from the German and Japanese manufacturers am sure it will knock spots off them, especially off road. I have seen a few videos of the D5 offroading and they claim it's even better than the D4 which is awesome offroad. Having done the Dunkeld offroading experience in Perthshire several times it never ceases too amaze me what the D4 can do. Ha ha I would like too see the German and Japanese 4 x 4s even attempt that

OK thanks Mac
Yes you would think landrover would be pushing the cars out early for the new reg on March 1st
Ps not sure if you picked this up, but Land Rover website in December stated First Edition came with Television, having checked with dealer it actually doesn't. Disappointing for us because we use it a lot on D4.
Hi Mac your right. I emailed my dealer on Monday. After emails flying around all day yesterday I have been informed that I was looking at a non UK website apparently?? Well that's incorrect as I spent a whole week investigatiing all the models, plus I was in the Landrover Garage on their website when I ordered the car. I am so annoyed and gutted. That was the reason I went for the First Edition over the Hse Luxury. I assumed it had the TV as it clearly stated on Landrovers UK website and Landrovers UK brochure. Had I gone for the luxury I would have got the TV and saved 5k odd. As my cars on the assembly line they can't Add the TV. Plus it's not available as an extra either? Not happy and emailing Land Rover tomorrow myself. It definitely had the Touch screen Dual View and rear seat entertainment and TV. Appearently you can get the lesser models with a TV but not the Limited Edition Top of the range. Makes no sense at all. If this is the case will I get a refund of £1500 quid odd as cars same price now without TV and Dual screen than it was with it? Plus will front seat passenger be able too watch a Dvd whilst car is in motion or just a black screen with volume. Not even sure if I will get a dual screen in the car?? Looks like I will be cancelling my order of i cant get the TV fitted

Hi Road Runner, I'm in exactly the same position, it was also one of the reasons I ordered first edition. We have two young kids so use tv function daily! I have to say I don't recall dual view being mentioned but TV certainly was and it was UK Land Rover website as I kept a screen shot. I was told it was not possible to add any extras to first editions, they come as they are other than dealer fit accessories! Mac

Hi Mac, am in the same position with a family. When I specced the Hse Lux for the TV too work you needed the Dual split screen. Was 600 pounds odd in addition too 800 plus for the TV. So on the First Edition it would have too have the spilt screen in order for the passengers front and rear too watch the TV or Dvd whilst driver has access too the Sat Nav. It's a joke so much for 1 St Edition. Lower specs can have a TV but the top of the range doesn't. Disappointing

Am not sure how I stand with cancelling the car. I will loose my deposit but I paid with credit card so should get a refund. I have draughted a letter too customer services plus I have taken screen shots of the brochures which are UK. Plus the prices were in sterling not euros. I think they are trying too pull a fast one. Minus the TV and Dual Screen the vehicle is still the same price beforehand and after. £1500. Surely price should have been reduced too reflect this?

Yeah the screen shot I've got has price in pounds too so definetly uk website. I emailed customer services before I spoke to dealer, they stated 'cars will be built according to the specification at the time of order' and then directed me to dealer to get confirmation of spec. I haven't responded to them yet but will be doing so. Will keep you posted.

OK thanks. I got sent my spec sheet from head office for my car build 3 pages long. I can email you or what's app you if you want me to or send via private message. It does say in the small print may be subject too changes and specs etc, just Land Rover covering themselves. I take it Customer Services were not very helpful. I cant see why it can't be fitted with a TV.
