• It's not the maintenance I am interested in...Topix explains the technical detail and principles of systems and how they work.

• Yes, but it does specifically say '2017 -2024' 'All engines covered' and it only actually covers 2017MY and those engines - all other years and models are out the window.

  I was actually really surprised when they made low ratio an option, because weight in respect of emissions is everything ..so saving 35-40kgs for the 95% that don't do heavy offroad is meaningful. ...

• I've had 2 D5's one with Hi\Lo and now just Hi. I have a reasonable amount of off road experience from the days of D3, D4 and tbh were we always in low off road ..no. It did have its place though.

• Which MY D5 do you have, Ecosse, and does it have a hi/lo range or only a hi range?
  
  If you select Sport and then use the paddles to invoke manual transmission mode, it should hold the current gear ...
