D5 Commercial build slot
I placed my order on Jan 19th and paid a deposit on a new D5 Commercial HSE TD6 to replace my 2015 D4 Commercial. Is it strange that the dealership have not been in contact with build slots? I have tried calling but they have just said they will call me in due course. I may just be impatient, but i am sure as soon as my previous orders were logged I was given an expected date.

Maybe as it's just been released they have no slots yet as they are building the press and demonstrators first?

I didn’t get a build date for a few months. The order goes into into a holding pole and then called off when LR confirm the next sequence.

When did you place your order Scriv? Is it a Commercial? I gather the commercials get held up even longer at ‘Special Vehicles’ waiting to have the rear interior removed.

I’ve been told it could be in Sv for a couple of weeks.

I ordered a Commercial end Dec. Was told 24th April build. I'm unclear if it goes to SV after that or before.

My build slot was 3rd week March. However, all slots are rumoured to be delayed. Will update when I have more info.
I'm getting impatient now. Hahaha.

Was discussing the option of getting a D5 Commercial with the sales guy at Shukers LR this weekend and he said they had a list of buyers but as yet weren't able to book them onto the order system as yet. This might explain the absence of build slots being given out,
FYI Shukers are hoping to get their D5 Commercial Demo in about 6 weeks time, be interested in seeing that

It will be 2 months without contact ref a build slot on Monday. Starting to loose patience now! I had already cancelled an Amarok due to the fact they announced the new Discovery Commercial, just wandering whether I made a mistake? Anyone else had a build slot for a Commercial??
