    Ordered Disco 5 HSE TD6 today

    It's a happy day. I received my Vista Build Sheet for a new Disco 5 HSE TD6 yesterday morning. I'm in the United States. The ship receiving port here is an hour drive from me. Now I wait.

    Thanks for the welcome. I know I am not the first USA order but I am definitely an early order. We aren't expecting to see a D5 here in the states till May 2017. Mine isn't scheduled to even be built till June.

    Considering adding Cold Climate Package just to get the heated seats. In the US, it's a $1250 option.

    Why can't a near $70k car come standard with heated seats? LoL.

    Variable grill? I went to the LR UK site and the stock photo is the same as the US site.

    I just looked at the pdf page picture. There is another inside view picture with actuator on pdf page 123.

    I modified my order today and got an immediate Vista Order sheet. Promise dates did not change.

    I added:
    Cold Climate Package (for heated seats)
    Vision Package (surround cameras)
    Advanced Tow Assist

    Capabilities Package was upgraded to Capabilities Plus package. This gave me all terrain progress control and active locking rear diff in addition to the two-speed transfer case. Unfortunately it required 3rd row seats (7 passenger) when I only wanted 5 seating. Nothing is custom these days. Bummer.

    I suppose the 3rd row seating will give higher resale here in the States.

    There are not many US members here and definitely not many orders.

    I ordered (no deposit required) late January. Build data is a couple weeks after you on 6/9.

    Dealer only has 3 D5 orders in right now. I will certainly be one of the first in my area (Savannah, GA).

    Another USA order here - I might be the earliest order on the forum from the US

    Last amed date April 10
    Build date may 12
    Delivery date June 30

    We are struggling to lock down color and gasoline vs Diesel engine. Meanwhile, the longer we look at it, the more it feels we've added every damn option on the list.

    HSE lux
    Currently gas (will likely switch to diesel)
    Corris gray (thinking about going black, really want carpathian gray but not willing to spring for the extra $$)
    21" black
    Etc etc
