    Got one on Courtesy car...

Took one round Rockingham yesterday and now got one on courtesy car.

Definately a nice car but the cost Big Cry

Ive had a good look from the drivers seat but cannot see the dodgy rear end LOL

Nice ride albeit the 2017 model seems to have more road noise than 2018.

Going to keep my eyes peeled for a 2018MY SE which a few extras towards the end of the year.

Cant decide on 2.0 or 3.0 - need to drive a 2.0 but would welcome thoughts from those who have driven a 2.0

Still love the D4 though Bow down

You obviously won't appreciate me saying this BUT... The D4 looks Old all of a sudden, When you see one every day maybe it stays the same but after driving round in a D5 and looking at it all the time, seeing a D4 just looked aged and angular.

D4 owners love the angles i know, As for the 2.0 V 3.0, some, in fact most on here say that they can't tell the difference. I can, The noise of the 2.0 litre engine is greater than the 3.0 litre, I think it rev's more, it's more clunky at the bottom end from the gearbox and in the mid range it feels less robust.

there are plenty on here though who love them, On paper there's not much in it. but for me the real world driving experience and the fact that the next car i have will probably be battery driven meant that this one needed to be how i wanted it to be and the 2.0 just didnt quite feel right,

The problem you have now is that once you have tried the new one every one you see out on the road you will be picturing it sat on the drive.

Hmm, They are just so pricey, and now I want a 2018MY for the digital dash haha.

I need to drive the 2.0 and find someone who tows with it.

I agree with with Chalkys HSE comments, the 3lt is silky smooth and is effortless when driving. I when for the 2lt which for me it was the right choice. It's a little cheaper to buy and run and the money saved I put towards a black pack. Thumbs Up

It is inevitable that peeps will make the comparison but reality is the V6 is always going to win out in the refinement stakes. I have come down from the V6 and yet I'm still smiling Very Happy

Totally agree Chalky. I was in the market to trade up from my D3 to a D4 but when i got in one it just wasn't different enough form my D3. As soon as I sat in a D5 that was it, I was in love and still am.

I am not ready to change yet from my D4 but spend many hours on autotrader - and find looking st used D4s depressing as the dash looks so ancient. Then I remember that the D3 I had briefly was 8 years ago now and the replacement has to last at least 3-4 years. Cannot face looking at the same dash for more than ten years... So currently hoping to get a D5 maybe next year
