    Roof Box - Thule XXL or XL?

    has any purchased the Thule Motion XT XXL... not sure if the rear overhang will intrude on the operation of the rear boot door?

    I have the Thule Motion XL, no problems.
    I’m using the original LR crossbars.

    You can use both, no problem, but I have decided for the XL, it is 17cm shorter and will not go over the front windscreen.
    If you calculate the allowed weight (74kg on the original cross bars) minus the weight of the box itself (23 or 25,5kg) you are allowed around 50kg inside the box, 500L is absolutely enough not to overweight the roof.

    XXL - 610L - 232x95x47cm - 25,5 kg
    XL - 500L - 215x91,5x44 cm - 23kg
