I seem to have bought an HSE
Having owned a D3 and two D4s over the last thirteen years, I was quite - no very - anti D5 when they were introduced, I was not at all keen on the looks or the 'form over function' design approach. However, for reasons that I can't explain I have somehow changed my tune to the extent that I have signed up for a factory fresh HSE, delivered to the dealer just last Friday. Not quite the spec I would have chosen, but offered at a great (15%) discount so I couldn't refuse. On a factory order 19MY to the same spec this would equate to 20% discount, so all in all, the deal was a no brainer.
HSE 3 litre TD6 in Silicon Silver with Light Oyster interior.
Black roof.
22" '5025' dark grey, diamond turned wheels.
External dynamic pack.
Privacy glass (probably wouldn't have chosen this).
Heated steering wheel.
Looking forward to picking it up next week, but I'll miss the D4. I hope I've done the right thing!

Thanks Indus, Photos when I pick it up next week. I see you have gone for Silicon Silver as well - we should compare notes!

It’s a very different beast but light years ahead inside. You’ll love it.

Sounds great, don’t forget to put photos on. The privacy glass has it’s good points, when the wife is driving the car on her own I feel the privacy glass is added sercurity. Undesirables carnt tell who’s in the car.
