    New SDV6

    With the recent announcement of the 225kW (305 BHP) SDV6 engine for the Discovery, does that mean the end of the Ingenium 6 cylinder engines? I had heard they were due for release in January 2019, but cannot imagine why Land Rover would want two 6 cylinder diesel engine designs. Interested to hear if anyone has driven a Discovery equipped with the SDV6 and what it felt like?

    I thought I read that LR have a contract with Ford to supply the TDV6 engines until 2021. I would not expect Ingenium 6 cylinder diesels until then.

    D6 is lined up for 2020 ...SDV6 expires that year also Smile
