wing mirror
my partner had a close encounter with a white van on a narrow country road last night ... short outcome was she had her wing mirror knocked off .... !
The mirror body was undamaged and she was able to pop it back on and everything worked fine (indicators and position etc,) but the mirror glass has gone a little ‘hazy’
So any recommendations as where to get a replacement glass for her ? its heated but no detector etc fitted.

£40 for glass from the Car Wing Mirror people seems like a sweet deal now!

Think the complete mirror is £1400 but glass is a lot cheaper

Yeah wing mirrors are so expensive now they have electrics in them. Even the plastics are pricey.
My wife had a Discovery Sport a few months ago and had a white van hit the wing mirror round a country road. Fortunately somehow only the casing was cracked and flew off, got an estimate of £150 for the casing and another £100 to spray it!
I ended up buying a new case on eBay for £45 and getting a mate who works in a paint sprayer to spray it for £25.
