    5 year Service plan

    Hi, not long till some of us get our cars. I'm slightly concerned..

    Still no official mention of the 5 Year Service plan on Landrover website.

    My salesman has been quoting £699, but LR have yet to release prices, though you can take it out upto 90 days after registration.

    Speaking of service plans. Has Land Rover published the recommended scheduled maintenance intervals yet for the D5?

    The 3.0 TD6 should be 12 month or 16,000 miles

    The 2.0 SD4 I'm not sure if it's the same as the DS 24 months or 21,000 miles.

    16,000 miles is a very long time to go between oil changes. 21k is even worse.

    I am curious to what is to be performed at 16k, 32k, 48k, 64k, etc......Surely there is a chart somewhere. Topix?

    Yep that's the now confirmed price, dealers where charging £699 based on the previous car as LR hadn't confirmed the price.

    I was told today you have 90 days from registration to register it
    Namib Orange 1st Edition with black roof and wheels.
    Privacy, tow bar, drive pack, surround camera, heated front & rear seats, auto dim door mirrors, side steps, remote Pro, RSE, arm rest fridge dash cam front and rear.

    Just for info, the price of the first 2 year / 21k service on the 2.0 diesel is £525, so the service plan is a no brainer!

    Unless you bought the car on a 3 year Land Rover Freedom package and intend to trade in at the 3 year point in which case I think you'll only need 1 service while you own the car.

    Keeping it beyond 3 years it's a no-brainer as you say.
