For the guys who are lucky to have this engine:
- Is the biturbo setup the real solution regarding the short intervals? Even when only driving short distances, will the service remain indicator stay ‘correct’?
-And what with the adblue, does this interval stay more or less correct as well, more specific for the short runs?
Hi. I have the SDV6 and have only had limited use of it so far. As regards the adblue - my range actually goes down slightly slower than the distance driven, which is positive.
As regards miles to service, I can't say yet as I don't do many miles, so the drop in the indicator tends to go down by a monthly amount - not mileage based ie. 16000 ÷ 12 per month.

How do you check the distance to service mileage

aha thanks, must only be 2017 models that don't tell you the quantity then. Never sure really, so tend to let it run to 1500-2000 miles and put 10L in. This time want to make sure I have plenty for towing the long distance plus a few hundred normal miles. I think towing it uses a litre about every 350miles and not towing about every 500miles. So long as it has over 5,000 miles on the range it should therefore be fine.
Remaining mileage for adblu came in at 18my, only reason it's related to digital instruments is that they became available at 18my also. My SE spec has the same analogue dials as your HSE but being 18my gives me the count down.
