Wireless android auto dongle
Has anybody used a wireless android auto dongle in a 2018 my Discovery 5 that works. I have a wired connection but I am fed up connecting and disconnecting every time. If so what make and model, please?

My wired connection on my 2017 stopped working when my Pixel 7 Pro updated to Android 13 a year or so ago. Much troubleshooting with Google yielded no satisfaction, so I bought this:

It's mostly stable - it occasionally reboots itself and wasn't super smooth to set up, but it reliably connects and doesn't take up much space.

Bought this one a month or so ago from Amazon for my '17 TD6 HSE for the same reason. I'm a farmer so I'm jumping in and out of the Disco all day... This £32 Bluetooth dongle works perfectly, for the price...it's a little godsend. It slots tidily into one of the center box USB sockets with no USB cables required. It does come with 2 cables in the box though, a USBa-USBc and a USBa extension cable..
I don't even have to take my phone out of my jacket pocket any more, it reconnects Android Auto (or Apple CarPlay) via Bluetooth within 10 seconds or so of me getting back in.
During the extremely simple 2 minute setup, pairing with my phone etc, it gave the option (on the center display) of what app to use it with...one of them, besides CarPlay or Android Auto, was In Control. I have no need or use for the LR In Control app so I couldn't try it...interesting that it offered the option though.
