    First trip to the dealer

Well, after 16447 miles over 1 year and 2 days my D5 has been dropped off at the dealership for the first time since I got it.

It's in for its first service and a few minor bits to be looked at under warranty but it managed to make it to it's first scheduled service without anything significant enough to justify an early visit.

The D4 needed an extra dealer visit for something between every service.

Wouldn't the internet be boring if people had nothing to complain about.🤣

    MY2019 D5 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - sold to a dealer for a crazy price!

Sadly, it's remarkable when a Landie makes it 16,000+ miles without a problem, but mine is at 30K with only a software update or two needed, and it being a bit alarmist at its oil quality. They have really come a long way despite the Internet detractors who never fail to assume otherwise.

mine went in for all of the delivery issues to be fixed in Jan 2019 (purchased used in Sept 2018) and other than the service in July 2019, it has done 8 months and 13000 miles so far and the only issue is the bonnet is becoming increasing hard to release. Tempted to call LR Assist and tell them I can't open the bonnet and washer fluid has run out so I cant legally drive the car. It obviously juyst needs a quick adjustment to the release cable, but I don't want it in the dealership for a day for a 5 minute job.

If I remember well, this is a known issue and on Topix, so automatically to be changed next time you visit a dealer anyway.
