    SOTA update time

    Can I ask why a dealer needs 2 days to apply S19b but other threads says SOTA updates take about 30 minutes?

    Took 6 - 7 hours today for 19B, and SOTA, which also included looking at the spare wheel, and battery issue.
    MY17 First Edition - 3L Diesel Td6 - Farallon Black - Roof rails,side steps,tints,tow bar,mudflaps,door strips.
    MY18 Hse Luxury - 3L Petrol Si6 Supercharged - Santorini Black - Roof rails,side steps,tints,tow bar,mudflaps,door strips,22's,dynamic pack 1,bonnet vents,t.v,dual view,frontcooler,360°camera,rear cooler/warmer,roof vane,black LR badges,wade sensing,door sill plates,boot liner, solar screen,wind deflectors,service plan,tracker,speed camera detector,dual dash cameras,ceramic coating.

    Strange, my first service + 19B + SOTA (but no ACP) took maximum 4 hours

    so, do they have to upload 19B to get SOTA? or can they just switch on SOTA?

    I currently have the 3 tile software (think its 18 something) with Smartphone pack as installed in January 2019.
    2023 D300 Metropolitan, Hakuba Silver, Low Range, Solar screen, Deployable towbar, FBH, sidesteps.

    I had a dealer activate SOTA for me yesterday (took him 10 mins) and within 10 mins it was downloading 19b, which took about 40 mins over 4G.

    cool, so in the time they need it to work out the issue with a parking sensor and to fix the almost non-releasing bonnet, they can turn on SOTA. I can then let it download on home wifi since I have never put a SIM card into the car in the 13 months I've had it lol
