Sat Nav - no sound
My sat nav has no sound but it is not muted. I have tried every setting to get sound - any ideas ?

Latest version all updated
always has worked by something has changed probably in a setting

It may be that you have inadvertently turned the sat-nav volume down to 0 ....the only way to test is to set a destination, make sure it's not on mute and then when you are driving along and it indicates a junction etc, turn the volume up when you think it is talking to you. If that makes any sense at all

I lost the sound on mine briefly when I updated the software to CarPlay, have you done this recently?

So eventually I returned my Discovery to the dealer who said that this was a very common fault caused by the recent software update when the vehicle was in for its last service. While I was waiting 2 more people were also asking the same question about no volume on satnav. One day wasted at dealer and it is all ok now like it was before they serviced my car.
