    Spare wheel alloy damage

    Removed my spare wheel for first time today (17 plate) and the face of it has been damaged from rubbing against the underbody.

    Anyone else had this problem. I’m going to have to get the alloy refurbished but then wondering how best to protect so this doesn’t happen again.

    I have also noticed damage on my spare wheel when I had to drop it down to top up the air pressure. I’d be interested to see if there is a fix for preventing further damage.
