So i've been going back and forth with the LR Customer Experience people, trying to find out why this is happening. Now I think i've found someone who knows why...
Apparently as they have updated all the systems to cater for the 'Phase 4' version, theres a few number of people who are having exactly the same problem as me when they try and log into InControl using a version before 4.
So it would seem the only way I can get this to work on my car is to have this Phase 4, so have booked my car in with Harwoods for the 27th July.

That reminds me of taking a new Volvo 850 back to a dealer for a new" constant speed valve". The part was on order for 7 weeks yet it took 6 weeks to order a car built to spec. Went in, the customer service desk told me they did have a part but that was for a customer that complained. "WELL I HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING FOR 7 WEEKS TOO" I told them after which that part was fitted in 15 minutes.
Our new (to us) HSE is doing the same thing. I’ve noticed it has no internet connection at all regards less of wether or not I have a data sim in the car, or the car connected to my home WiFi or phone hot spot. Nothing logs in and I cannot browse to any pages on the browser.
